I started this club because I wanted a room I could not find in Sarasota County: one open, all-ages place where every kind of musician can meet. People ask who is behind it, so here is a little about me and the music I make.
The organizer
I'm David Graham. I live in Sarasota, and it shows up in almost everything I write. I write songs, I release them, and I am always working to get better. I take voice lessons to keep stretching my range and building good habits, so I know what it feels like to be the least experienced person in the room.
I use every tool that helps a song along: pedals, backing tracks, loops, and AI tools. They help me build demos and finish songs for release. They also help me make the demos I hand to the studio musicians recording the new album, so the players hear the idea before they make it their own.
At club meetings I am the one with the name tags and the sign-in sheet. The meetings are about you, not about my music. Nobody promotes their own work at the library, and that includes me. This page is simply the answer to "who runs this?"

The music
Solo
Beach country from the Gulf Coast: songs about long weekends, salt air, small towns, and the people you keep coming back to. The website has free chord charts, guitar tab, and sheet music for the whole catalogue, with no account needed. If you would rather play a song than listen to it, go right ahead.
Full band
The plugged-in half of what I do. Same Gulf Coast, same writer, considerably more drums: full-band country rock built for a Friday night and a room that already knows the words.
